The Learning for Well-being approach focuses on developing physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual capacities. An initiative by the Universal Education Foundation collaborates with various communities to promote individual and collective wholeness. It views well-being as realising one’s unique potential through these capacities in relation to oneself, others, and the environment. The chapter explains the significance of these capacities and their connection to lifelong learning and identifies core practices that support them. Nine core practices are illustrated with examples of how they benefit individuals and groups. From the book “Improving the Quality of Childhood in Europe, Volume 6.”
