Children as Co-Creators: Final Module of Philea’s Peer-Learning Journey

On 16 September 2025 (16:30–18:00 CET), the Children and Youth Network of Philea will host “How to Involve Children Every Step on the Way”, the final module of its How to Involve Children and Youth in Your Work peer-learning journey. The Learning for Well-being Foundation will join as co-facilitators, together with Eurochild.

The session will be based on our joint case study of co-creating a child-friendly version of the European Commission’s Guidelines on Well-being and Mental Health at School. Participants will learn how children, when engaged as co-creators from the outset, can help transform complex policy documents into resources that truly reflect their needs and perspectives.

At the Learning for Well-being Foundation, we believe that every child is a unique individual whose voice must be heard and respected. This module will illustrate how participation is not only about inclusion—it is central to children’s well-being and dignity.

The event will be especially relevant for foundations, philanthropic infrastructure organisations, think tanks, civil society organisations, and policymakers seeking practical approaches to embed child participation into their work. Participants will also hear directly from children about what meaningful involvement can look like in practice.

By co-facilitating this final module, we will strengthen partnerships across philanthropy and policy while advancing our vision of child participation as a cornerstone of well-being.

You are warmly invited to register and join this important conversation.
