Inclusion in Practice: Learning for Well-being Contributes to the EU iBOX Project

As part of a European consortium, the Learning for Well-being Foundation played a key role in the Inclusion Box (iBOX) project—an EU-funded initiative led by the Lifelong Learning Platform to foster more inclusive, participatory environments across civil society and education sectors.

Throughout 2024, L4WB-F contributed to the project by co-designing and delivering a series of capacity-building activities grounded in well-being and rights-based methodologies. These included:

  • A 3-day online training on access and participation in learning environments.
  • In-person workshops during LLLP Days in Brussels.
  • Contributions to the Compendium of Inspiring Practices and the Inclusion and Diversity Charter.
  • Co-development of three self-paced online courses focused on participation, inclusion strategies, and digital transitions.

The courses remain freely available via the iBOX e-learning platform. Each takes approximately six hours to complete and can be accessed in just a few steps:

The project culminated in a high-level final conference during LLLWeek in Brussels, where L4WB-F co-led a session on participation and showcased the We Are Here Toolkit as part of the project’s outputs.

The iBOX initiative illustrates how cross-sector collaboration and shared learning can strengthen inclusive practices at systemic levels—and why placing well-being at the heart of inclusion is essential to sustainable transformation.
