This child-friendly guide explores practical ways to strengthen well-being and mental health in school communities.
Drawing on the experiences and perspectives of more than 200 children across Europe, it presents 10 practical actions to help schools become safer, more inclusive and nurturing environments. The guide also shares children’s recommendations for decision-makers, highlighting the importance of listening to children’s voices and ensuring their meaningful participation in shaping policies and practices that support well-being in schools.
Developed through a year-long collaboration between the Learning for Well-being Foundation and Eurochild, the publication reimagines the European Commission’s Guidelines on Mental Health and Well-being at School in a version created with and for children.
