Each ACT2gether site responds to the needs expressed by  children and young people living locally. In this sense, ACT2gether Palestine has developed diverse projects and activities in 2022. By forming alliances to guarantee access for children to sports activities, working for children with special needs in partnership with other organisations, and developing programs to empower children, ACT2gether Palestine has significantly impacted the community.

During October, ACT2gether Palestine worked together with the Ministry of Education in a training program with the primary objective of providing an environment that promotes comprehensive health within the school community in the Jordan Valley —Jericho and Tobas. In a first stage of the project, school principals, health staff, and counsellors were trained on how to carryout training at  the school level, targetting female students aged 10 to 15 years old.

90 female students from 6 schools (3 in Jericho, 3 in Tobas) participated in this program aimed at promoting  comprehensive health and well-being.  Self-confidence, leadership, personal hygiene and psychological changes among adolescent girls were some of the topics addressed in the programme.

Also, 200 teachers from the same schools received training on mental and reproductive health and effective communication methods to address behavioural problems among students. This program was developed taking into consideration cultural issues.
