‘What Makes Me?’ Now Available in Spanish

Expanding access to resources that support child well-being

¡Una gran noticia para quienes trabajan por el bienestar de la infancia!

We are proud to announce that What Makes Me? – Core Capacities for Living and Learning is now available in Spanish, under the title Lo que me hace ser quien soy – Capacidades fundamentales para el aprendizaje y bienestar.

The report brings together research, practical insight and reflection on how to support children’s development across mental, emotional, physical and spiritual dimensions. It introduces a set of core capacities that can be cultivated through learning and everyday experience.

With this edition, Spanish-speaking educators, practitioners and advocates can more easily access the ideas and tools in the report. It supports efforts to strengthen child well-being in early childhood across diverse contexts.

This translation was made possible thanks to the support of UNICEF’s Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, in collaboration with UNICEF Chile.
