The 100th Quality of Childhood (QoC) marks an important milestone in a conversation that has continued to evolve: what does it take to create the conditions for every child to grow and thrive?
Children’s well-being is shaped by much more than individual circumstances. Relationships, schools, communities, and digital environments all influence how children experience safety, belonging, agency, and connection. The celebration in Brussels will bring together experts, practitioners and decision-makers to examine these connections and rethink how the systems surrounding children can better respond to their needs
Taking a whole-child, systemic and intergenerational perspective, the event will connect discussions on school reform, well-being in the digital age and holistic mental health. Policy debate, presentations and interactive workshops will create space to share knowledge, challenge existing approaches and explore how policies, practices and partnerships can place children’s well-being at their centre.
